 Dude, if you don't understand the basics and just want to get someone else write the code for you, it means you really shouldn't study computer science. Find different field!

Maklumlah mas... namanya juga masih buruh, alias tukang koding. Kerjaannya ya gak jauh2 dari compiler, tools, performance, dlsb. Kalo udah jadi bos kayak mas_kofa mungkin masalah yg dipikir udah beda. :)

Ga ngaruh ah, tetep pascal. bagiku bahasa lain pendamping doang.
saya bikin aplikasi android emang pake java, tapi native library tetep dari pascal. ya toh?
ntar kalo DalvikVM dah sukses saya embed pake freepascal, maka sepenuhnya bisa pake pascal.

SEMANGAT !!

referensi faktor 1 (lawan gcc):
http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/u32/benchmark.php?test=all&lang=fpascal&lang2=gcc
http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/u32q/benchmark.php?test=all&lang=fpascal&lang2=gcc
http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/u64q/benchmark.php?test=all&lang=fpascal&lang2=gcc
http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/u64/benchmark.php?test=all&lang=fpascal&lang2=gcc

kalo yang versus managed language, itu ada dua kemungkinan:
  • emang implementasi algonya
  • curang (java steady state gak ngitung startup, sementara yang native kan kudu load ke memori dulu)

anyway, kalo diliat dari banyaknya kode jelas keliatan fpc lebih sedikit kode dibanding gcc. power of fpc libraries, and this is what modern programming needs actually: cut wheel reinventment as far as possible.

plus, fpc is still the best here:
